How To Dress
Wear athletic clothing tailored to yoga or dance that makes you feel good. Expect to sweat, so please bring a towel. Grip socks are highly recommended and sold at each location. We also have a water bottle station available, but you can also purchase water.
Our studios have plenty of “free” parking nearby, so arrive with enough time to change, put away your belongings in our secured cubbies, and gather your equipment for the day.
Please arrive to class at least 5 minutes early – 15 minutes for your first class – and note that studio doors will be locked 10 minutes after class begins. For your own safety, if you are more than 10 minutes late for class, the reception team or the instructor has the right to exclude you from the class. This policy is to help prevent injury as well as to be considerate of the teacher and other clients who are already participating in the class.
Our instructors will take you on a tour of the studio, get you the right equipment and help you set up your space. Let your instructor know of any injuries or limitations you have so they can modify your workout.
New to Barre Remixed?
First off, welcome! We are so amped you decided to take the first step in your fitness journey with Barre Remixed. Please plan to arrive 15 minutes early. One of our fierce Remixed Instructor’s will check you in and give you a quick tour of our changing rooms, cubbies, water station, restroom and equipment room.
What to wear?
Be ready to bend, move & shake! Casual athletic, yoga, or dancewear is studio appropriate. For Barre Remixed classes, we highly recommend wearing sticky socks to prevent injuries. For Body2TheBeat please wear comfortable tennis shoes. For Buti Yoga classes, you can rock bare feet.
What to bring?
Bringing your fierce self is the first step! All that we ask is that you please bring your own refillable water bottle and take advantage of our water bottle filling station. Don’t forget to bring your sticky socks for our Barre Remixed classes. No sticky socks? Don’t worry. We have socks for sale at our studio. For Buti yoga, please bring your own mat.

This is my first time, do I need previous experience?
Nope! We welcome all levels of our classes. A Remixed instructor will demonstrate each movement throughout the workout and will monitor form to guide anyone who needs help.
Is Barre Remixed only for women?
Yes. We want to create a female only experience for our community.
What if I need to cancel a class I already booked?
As a reminder, you must cancel your class at least six hours before to avoid losing the credit for that class. If you do not show up to a class you reserved, you forfeit the credit for that class and will not receive a refund. If you do not show up to a class you reserved and you have an unlimited package, you will be charged a $10 no-show fee.
Oh no! I am on a waitlist!
No sweat! You can request to be placed on the MindBody waitlist for any class that is full. If a spot opens up, you will be automatically booked in the class. If someone enrolled in the class cancels prior to start time and you get into the class, you will receive an email. To avoid being charged a no-show fee or losing credits, be sure to take yourself off of the waitlist by accessing your MindBody account online if you cannot attend class.
How many times should I come to class to see results?
While it is most important to listen to your body and give your muscles enough rest, typically 3 times a week will generate the most fitness results. You should always consult your physician to determine what is a “safe” amount of exercise.
Do you offer private events, fundraising classes, bachelorette parties or corporate events?
Yes! We would love to host your next event and customize your experience. Please contact us to discuss your personal Barre Remixed experience.
Can I take a class if I’m pregnant or injured?
We advise you to consult with a medical professional before beginning classes with Barre Remixed. Once cleared, please let your instructor know if you are expecting or have any injuries so they can guide you through any modifications you may need.

What is Ballet Barre?
Ballet barre is the same as a traditional barre workout. Here at Barre Remixed, we spice things up a bit. Think bad ballerina.
